'The Thing'

As part of a Uni project to create a diorama of a film scene - and to introduce us to the laser cutter - I was given the task to create something based on 'The Thing' (1982). As someone who is not a fan of horror, this was a challenge; but I eventually found a way to represent the Thing in a way that was cute and mostly harmless.
