Okami Trinket

Lasercut poplar wood, Wood stain, Acrylic paint

A commissioned Christmas present; the client wanted something pretty and trinket-like for her Sister themed around the video game 'Okami'. I decided to test out a more delicate - freestanding - layered illustration; poplar isn't as bulky as MDF and takes wood stains while keeping the texture. It was also the chance to try out engraving with great success.
